Wild Boar Hunting in Turkey

I have been with a small group of hunters hunting Wild Boars in Erzurum in Turkey. Trip have been very exciting , it is a beautyful hunting area with big mountains and narrow valleys , very wild nature. Weather have been rather cold 0 to minus 8 on celcius and snow, but weather so beautyful , sunny and crispy weather with a fantastic view every day.  Wild Boars are not in great numbers but they are monster Wild Boars that evry one dreams of. Our biggest in the group was a gold medal Wild Boar that weighted more than 300KG!! So Turkey is a great destination if you are looking for the Wild Boar of your life.  Turkey also have the most soughted Ibex in the world , the Bezoar Ibex ,  it is possible to do both hunting at the same trip ,  few days Wild Boar hunting and then change area and go for 4 - 5 days for the Bezoar Ibex.  During our trip we spotted many foxes and also we saw 2 Wolfs very close by and lots of tracks.  Accommodation was first class in Erzurum and food was fine. All in all a good trip and great new experience in a new country fo most of us. The Turkey Wild Boar and the biggest and the most sought after Ibex in the world the Bezoar Ibex have the same season ,  so you can do both Wild Boar hunting and Bezoar Ibex hunt in the same trip , two different parts of the country though , you will need alltogether 10 days for a combo hunt.
