 Rooisand is an unfenced game ranch in excess of 8000 hectares (80 sq km) in a mountainous semi desert hunting area halfway towards the Namibian coast. This ranch has a particular strong population of Mountain Zebras along with most of the other species on the Trophy list. Very interesting and challenging hunting in stunning mountainous terrain.
The accommodation is spacious and well decorated and the food is good and varied with lots of game dishes. The extensive bar/garden/pool area is a great place to relax with a cold drink after a day of hunting, and there a gym and a tennis court as well as clay shooting...

We recommend flying in directly from Europe with Air Namibia via Frankfurt (6 weekly departures). Air Namibia offers all hunters an extra 10 KG luggage to accommodate your weapons and ammunition. Also flying via Johannesburg can create problems with weapons.
