After a week with horrible conditions on the Dee with snowstorms and half frozen river the weather improved.
And the fish were willing to take as soon as conditions improved, last week 14 salmon were caught on the Lower Crathes beat which is a very good result.
Among the catch was a cracking 20lbs salmon caught by Mr. Jim fisher. The beautiful springer is pictured with this article.
