Day tour fishing - Good way to enjoy your visit
A day tour to on of our finest rivers close to Reykjavik is a good way to combine the magical viewing of our historical nature and to enjoy a good sport as well.
We offer Guided fishing tours in our many good productives rivers to catch salmon, trout or char.
You can also grab the opportunity of fishing more than one river the same day. Lax-á has about 30 rivers to offer but here are some ideal rivers for daytours:
Tungufljot river(salmon and Trout),
Galtalækur river (trout only)
East and West Ranga Rivers(salmon) known for their productivity and charm.

We take care of you all the way in our trips and including in our prices are pick up / drop off at your hotel in Reykjavik, fishing license and tackle (rod, reel and waders) – (anglers buy or bring their own flies) (we can also provide for additional price) Guiding and transportation at the river all the time by our well experianced guides. One guide is provided with every two persons and he supplies some light refreshments during the tour.
Fishing is allowed from 07:00 to 13:00 and again from 15:00 to 21:00 so anglers can stay as long as that. But of course they can go back earlier if they choose.
A traditional salmon fishing day is from afternoon to noon, so anglers stay at our lodge, fishing evening and morning shift. But anglers can also choose to fish full day.
No minimum number of anglers in tour. Please ask us from availability and prices.
