Hunting in Romania

In Romania Lax-á can now arrange for you the following hunting programes for Wild Boar , Red Stag , Fallow Deer, Chamois , Roebucks , Brown Bear , Wolfs , Jackal and Links.  Read below what Romania can offer you in hunting! Red Stag 20th September to 15th December.
Fallow Deer 20th September to 15th December.
Roebuck 1st June to 15th September
Chamois 15th September to 15th December
Bear 15th September to 31st December and 15th March to 14th May.
Wolf , Lynx , Wild Cat and Jackals , all year.

The season for Wild Boar in Romania is from 1st August to 31st January.	Arni going for a very steep and long distance shoot for a Carpahtian Chamois at 320 meters.

Some of the drives can be very suggesful , this drive was one of the drives from Iasi region.	First light when we went stalking for Chamois in Calarasi region.
Early morning in the Carpathian Mountains , country of Chamois and big brown Bears.	This is from our comfortable  Guesthouse in Iasi , excallant accommodation.
Lots and lots of food , if something to much to good.	The hunting party out side of the Guesthouse in Iasi , Derrick , Ali , Arni Charles , Stephen , David , Gordon and James.
Big lunches in the field every day , lots of meet on the fire , hot red wine and soups.	In the deep forest in Iasi region.
Last light , Ali from Scotland took this two fime mails at the last light.	Some ares are high up in the hills  in totally open area , very exciting hunt where you see the Boars coming a long distance.
David Richwhite with the beaters , beaters can be sometimes as many as 100 at a time!	Going home after the last drive , normally we take 5 - 6 drives a day.
Sometime we are at risk with the weather ... still hunting in the blizard snow storm.	Sometimes the snow is to heavy for the vehicles to get us to the blinds , then the only way is to walk or go by horse wagon.
Great hunting day , Wild Boars can be as big as 350 - 400KG in Romania , Romania is well known for the biggest Wild Boar in teh world.	After the hunting day , every evening we have a celebration party somewhere in the forest where the local people have prepared some fantastic food for us and drinks , this is the highlights of the hunting day.

Fog can make the hunting difficult.	Almost dark during the middle of the day!  You can in fact expect all kind of weather , from 15 Celcius + to 10 Celcius minus , sun , rain , fog or snow , we experienced all this kind of weather during 10 days of hunt.
In Delta Danju we hired a big boat , we stayd over night on the boat , was not bad at all rooms a bit small , but had private bathroom and shower, this was a adventure.	Delta Danju, of the Islands where we hunted Wild Boar.

In the Delt Danju Islands you need serious vehicles to get around.	Getting ready for the Wild Boar drive.
In the biggest island we could make 2 days of hunting 6 drives each day.	Happy Will with some good boars.
In the Carpathian mountains we had a very nice lodge , this is my room , must be 25m2 with all comfort.	From the dining room in the hunting lodge.

Cozy place and the food was excellant.	The newly built lodge , you can walk from the lodge in to the forest and you are with in couple of minutes already in the hunting area.
This mountain is right at the hunting lodge and there is number of Chamois roaming the hills.	Spotting a Chamois on the cliff. The hunting season for Chamois is from 15th September to 15th December.

Walking the canyons on a road that was made by the Germans during the world war ll now destroyed but stilla great help for walking.	Finally reaching the hut up in the mountains , here we takea little nab until the afternoon. Chamois lay down during the middle of the day so there is no use of hunting mid day.

The Bear hunting season is from 15th September to 31st December and from 15th March to 14th May.	A beautiful morning in the Carpathian mountains.
Up at 1000 meters in the mountains , waiting for the Chamois to arrive.	Sometimes we spotted up to 15 Chamois at the same time , most of the shots are 200 - 300 meters, great sport , Chamois is a small target.
It is hard to get to the top of the Mountains .. but it is often harder to collect the animal!	Arni ... very tired with his first Carpathian Chamois.
Relaxing ... great view!	At the end of the hunting day having the most wanted beer.. and chatting to the cheff what is for dinner to night.
On a bear track that we lost due to heavy snow fall.	Chamois hunting area,  you have to be very careful in the mountain , lots of steep cliffs.
The Roebuck season of Romania is from 01st June to 15th September.	happy faces ... that is what it is all about!
