09 September 2010 After a tough start this morning things went upwards for us on the river. We deceided that we were only fishing with big dry flies today and after a big zero in the morning session everything went the right way after our lunch break. We had wine & cheese, soup, blt sandwitches, fruits, ooohh so much energy there to get you all fired up for the next try. We managed to land 6 salmon today, biggest one was 18 lbs, other ranging 12-15 lbs, we lost 5, fantastic afternoon for us, thanks to the hard working guide, Mr Mario..Axelo axelo@lax-a.is More...

08 September 2010 The last two days have been really tough on the river in terms of fishing, we have had the sun shining the whole time, high temp and the fish just don´t want to move so we are just working our tan in good spirits. The fish who have been caught are all caught on Icelandic flies, such as Snaelda, Bl frances tubes and the hitch. We have landed 7 and lost 5, all fish ranging 5-12lbs..Axelo axelo@lax-a.is

I must have made about 10.685 cast today with the dryfly
