Blanda IV is just heaven for the avid fly fisherman, gin clear water and spectacular landscape. The beat is the topmost beat of river Blanda and is considered one of the best beats on the river. This is salmon fishing in Iceland at its best.

Beat four is quite different to the rest of the river as it is really a gin clear tributary. The beat is perfect for a single hander and the salmon can be quite large as they are of the Blanda stock and have to run through the powerful river to get to the beat.
