We are finally getting some good weather here in Iceland after an awful winter with heavy snow and storms. Even though we had to suffer through it still it will have good effect on our rivers for the summer as now they have plenty of snow in the mountains for reserve.
We also have good news on the awful pandemic front here is Iceland as it now is in steep decline and we will hopefully be totally free in May. We are optimistic that travel will resume with precautions in the summer so we can enjoy our precious fishing.
We do have a few good slots in both the Ranga Rivers from mid August – beginning of September. This is a very good time to be in the river as grilse are still running and the big boys which came earlier get aggressive for the fly.
