Iceland spring / summer 2025. River Sog Asgardur beat a trout paradise , one of the very best trout fishing in Iceland.
We are now booking the following prime time weeks in Asgardur 2025.
Dates: 24 to 31st May noon to noon , 31 May to 7th June and 7 – 14th June.
4 rods fishing. The beat offers Seatrout , Brown Trout , Native Arctic Char and Searun Arctic Char , great sizes most of them 4 to 8 pounds.
Accommodation in a luxury wonderful 4 bedroom self catering lodge , resturants nearby walking distance www.grimsborgir.is and Thrastarlundur Þrastalundur restaurant, Iceland, Þrastalundi – Restaurant reviews (restaurantguru.com) , food shop 15 minutes drive.
Tackle , single handed fly rod weight 5 to 7 , full floating , light nymps , weighted nymphs , streamers and dry flies all in natural colours , nymps and dry flies in sizes 12–14–16 and streamers in sizes 6–8–10.
The beat is about 6km long with plenty of pools for everyone.
Price is Eur: 3.680.- pr. rod for the week and includes the exclusive accommodation , one guide and the fishing for the week. It is possible to add on fishing for the monster Ice Age Brown trout at the next door famous Lake Thingvallavatn.
