One of the most sought after rivers in Iceland is in the north- Big Laxá í Aðaldal. The reason being that on average, the salmon from the river is larger than in any other in Iceland.

Each summer many, many fish over 20 pounds are caught and they even have their own club at the river, called the twenty pounder club. Every season the club gains many new happy members- not a bad club to be in.

We have a few rods left in Laxá in Aðaldal for the summer of 2017 – August 5-8th. This can be combined with other Northern rivers for an excellent trip.

This is a unique opportunity to experience one of the most sought after rivers in the country.
