As you may have heard we have suffered this summer with quite unusual drought in many parts of Iceland. As a result many rivers have suffered with very low water levels and the fishing has been hard.
Finally last week we had a little rain in Western Iceland and the catch improved as a result, the Nordura is now up to 300 salmon. We are still waiting for rain here in the south but once it arrives the fishing should pick up in the Stora Laxa which has been poor this summer.
