Openings is: 6 – 13th of May , 27th May to 03rd June and 10 to 17th June. Ideal party is 4 to 6 anglers in a party.

The river Sog is well known among anglers for both the salmon fishing and the char fishing, the Asgard beat at river Sog is one of the very best rivers in Iceland for both Searun and Native Arctic Char (they are in Salmon sizes), as well as Native Trout and Searun Trout up to sizes of 12 pounds. Prime time for Arctic Char and Trout is in early spring from 1ts April to middle late June. Our lodge sleeps 8 and is one of the very best in Iceland it have it all Jacuzzi and Sauna located right on the river bank with amazing views. It only takes about 45 minutes to drive to the river from Reykjavik.
