Leirvogsá opened the spring fishing for sea trout yesterday. Conditions were a bit tough with high winds and the river a bit colored and high in water. Last week was the best week of the season on the river DEE , fishing picking a bit up from 25 – 30 Salmon a week to 52 Salmon last week , on our beat Lower Crathes / West Durris where 10 Salmon landed , fingers crossed that fishing will get better from now on. Arni arnibald@lax-a.is
