Lax-a provides excellent day tour fishing, well suited for adults and children, advanced anglers as well as beginners. For the day tours we provide both trout and salmon fishing.

The guide collects you early in the morning, brings all necessary equipments and heads to the river. The most ideal rivers for day tours are Galtalækur, West & East Ranga, Tungufljot and Brynjudalsa – all within one hour drive from Reykjavik.

Duration: Fishing is allowed from 7am until 1pm and again from 4am until 10pm. Anglers can of course decide pick up and drop off within that time frame.

Package includes:

Pick up/drop of in Reykjavik.
Fishing license and tackles (rod, reel, waders and flies/spinners).
Guiding and transportation. (One guide is provided with every two rods.)
