The West Ranga river is easily recommended as it is known as the best high catch salmon river in Iceland. This year it ended on top of the list by far of most salmon caught in Iceland with over 8.800 salmon landed for the season. The river is located only 1 hour from the capital which makes it very convenient for those stopping only for a few days in Iceland. The full catering lodge is located on the beautiful home pool area with dining view over the river.

We have a few rods left this season, the following days:

19 – 22. July 2017 – 1 rod (3 days)

25 – 28th July 2017 – 1 rod (3 days)

29 July – 1 August 2017 – 3 rods (3 days)

2 – 6 August 2017 – 2 rods (4 days)

These are all prime time dates on the river, this season the river produced over 100 salmon caught per day those dates.
