Last spring we tried fishing the Leirvogsá for the first time for the sea run trout. We knew that the river had a good stock of the trout and wanted to know how the spring fishing would go. Needless to say it was an astounding success!
The lower pools of the river were full of sea trout and we got as many as 20 per day.
This spring we are putting the licenses on the open market and already we have sold the majority of them. We still have a few days left if you want to venture over to Iceland for some good spring fishing. We can even tailor make a combo trip with other options such as the Þingvellir trophy trout and the Varmá.
