Lower Crathes & West Durris has had the best catches so far this season with Ballogie and Invery closely following. The Lower Crathes has produced 96 salmons, Ballogie 90 and Invery with 81 salmon. The fishing in River Dee has been under the average in March and April with after a great start in February.

The main reason for that is the weather with first snow to trouble anglers, then little water and now recently too much water hopefully we are going to see more stable water levels in coming weeks. Although the weather has been in the way of the fishing some days we have had some great springer’s so far this season. johann@lax-a.is
