We just heard from Mr. Robert Harper the ghillie for the Lower Crathes and West Durris beat in the River Dee.
Fishing has been a bit hard in the past days with conditions far from ideal for the sport of fishing. It has been really cold with a bitter wind blowing but still that does not keep the angers away.
A few fish have been caught most days on the beat, among the lucky ones to catch that elusive springer are Mr. Grewcock and Mr. Robinsson whom both caught a beautiful 18lbs fish.
