We just heard from a fellow angler, Gunnar Orn, passing by and sightseeing Leirvogsa river who saw salmon on their way up. Gunnar has been following the river the past days and confirms it is not the first time he saw salmon today.

Photo is of the salmon taken by Gunnar. Salmon has often been seen in beginning of June in Leirvogsa river but it looks like it is arriving early this year. We welcome them and hope for more to come soon. The Leirvogsa is a new Lax-a river and is an exclusive 2 rod river near Reykjavik. We have a few days left this summer on this river.
