Salmon fishing in Sog Asgard in 2019!
The Asgard beat in river Sog is a three rod beat with a stunning self-catering lodge.
The river Sog is Iceland’s largest fresh water river and is known for its big salmon. The Asgard beat is fly only and 100% C&R to help the stock in the river.
In 2018 the fishing on the beat was excellent with 264 salmon caught.
The beat is located only around one and a half hour from the Keflavik airport, you can take the morning flight from and start fishing in the afternoon. We have a few slots left for 2019.
The photo attached shows a 96 cm Salmon caught in September 2018.
