The Asgardur beat on the Sog is perfectly located in beautiful landscape only 45 minutes from the capital. The Asgard beat in the river Sog is well known for large salmon. It is ideal for fly fishing, floating lines and riffling hitch – this river is very steady and always gin clear. The beat is 5.6 km long and exclusive for only 3 salmon rods.

During the fishing anglers stay at the newly renovated Asgardur lodge, the lodge has 3 twin bedrooms all with private bathroom and a large dining and sitting room. The jacuzzi on the veranda is perfect to relax after a long fishing day, it is situated on the 150squere meter veranda with view overlooking the river and mountains.
