Stora Laxá is a 100% catch and release and the management is strongly conservation minded looking after this beautiful river in the best possible way. Now bookings are open for 2025 , beat 1 , 2 and 3 are fishing together in a rotation of 6 rods, great full service lodge with lots of food for hungry fishermans , every two rods are well looked after by a private experienced guide with 4WD vehicle. If you want to have it totally private then your choice would be to go up to the beautiful beat number 4 , self catering lodge which have been rebuilt and now super cosy and comfortable.
