Here is a list of birds that are possible to shoot in Iceland
Geese season runs from 20th of August until the 15th of March, expect for the Barnacle goose which only starts on the 1st of September. Prime time for the geese is from September to November.



Duck season runs from the 1st of September to the 15th of March. Prime time all year round but ducks are in best condition for taxidermy late winter.







Marine Birds season is from the 1st of September to the 15th of March. Prime time all year round but marine birds are in best condition for taxidermy late winter.




Gulls, Cormorants and shags can be shot from 1st of September to the 15th of March. Prime time is all season.
