King Eider

Lax-A offers an arctic adventure hunting for the sought after King Eider. Our professional guides in Greenland will look after you from the start of your journey until the end so you will have the experience of a lifetime.

The season for King Eiders in Greenland is from January to the end of April with the prime time being February and March. If you are after King Eiders this is simply the best options you will find anywhere in the world.

We sail from Nuuk which is the capital city of Greenland with an experienced captain which knows the waters like the palms of his hands. All our boats are new Targa boats, in two different sizes which can fit 4 to 6 hunters.

As you stay in the capital of Greenland during your stay you can enjoy all amenities  such as cell connection and internet while in town. The food is of excellent quality and in town you will find many renowned restaurants.

The King eider the is main target for the hunters but you can also find Common Eiders, Northern Borealis Eider, Long tail ducks, Mallards and marine birds.

In the month of March and April there is a possibility of making a combo hunt, both for winter Musk-ox and King Eider. You can even add on Ptarmigan shooting and Caribou hunting (Caribou is only available until the end of March).

We provide rental shotguns for the King Eider and ammunition. You are welcome to bring your own shotgun and we will take care of the necessary documents for the import.

The trips 3-4 hunting depending on the flight schedule which means 4-5 nights in Nuuk. Accommodation in a local hotel providing breakfast and packed lunch is included. Dinner is taken in different local restaurants. 

Booking are based on shared cabins, there is a single room supplement.
